“Delta to Chicago”

Seven years after his previous studio album, Blues from the Juke Joint, Mr. OH YEAH is finally set to release his long-awaited new studio album, Delta to Chicago, in the fall of 2026.

Recorded in Chicago, the album captures scenes and experiences from the Chicago and Mississippi Delta blues worlds where Mr. OH YEAH once lived and performed. The album is made up entirely of original songs, with all lyrics and music written by Mr. OH YEAH.

Inspired by his experiences and memories of life in Chicago and Mississippi, the album features a powerful rhythm section consisting of Big Ray (Drums), Cralos Showers (Guitar), and Darryl Wright (Bass). These musicians performed behind the legendary Chicago blues guitarist Jimmy Johnson at the now-closed legendary Chicago blues club B.L.U.E.S.

Production of the album began in 2023 at Fullerton Recordings in Chicago’s West Side. After three years of dedicated work and production, Delta to Chicago is finally ready to be released in the fall of 2026.
