2 years after "Chicago Sound", "Blues Leave Me Alone" was Hooker's eagerly awaited debut CD album. In the year of it's release, it charted-in unusually high on the Tower Records blues CD chart. In 2001 the album also went on sale in the home of the blues, Chicago, and has been having a great reception there.

"Chicago Sound", released in the Fall of 1997, was Hooker's first recording. It was released in audio cassette tape format and featured 5 songs. 
Even though it was a cassette only release, shortly after it went on sale it sold out twice at a well known CD shop in Tokyo becoming a smash hit! 
The mini-album is currently unavailable, but it's re-release in CD or other format is eagerly awaited.

"Live at Mojo" is a compilation album produced by the blues bar "Mojo" located in Urawa City in Saitama Prefecture 
(the area has since become incorporated in Saitama City). 
It features a collection of live recordings from the bar by a variety of musicians. 
Hooker's performance of "Go In Down The Line" is featured as the 6th track on the album.
